Counselling and Psychotherapy

Welcome to my website. I hope that the information on here helps you make an informed decision about whether counselling/ psychotherapy is for you.

My approach

As a psychotherapist I aim to create a non-judgemental, empathic and authentic relationship with you, which enables you to use it for your personal growth. I draw on both Person-Centred and Psychodynamic theories to inform my practice.  Through building a trusting and understanding relationship I help you to access what is on the edge of your understanding about yourself and facilitate the desired change and growth. My hope is that this way of relating will connect with you as a potential client and that you will view it as having benefit for you.

I offer brief or long term psychotherapy sessions to adults.

The sessions can be delivered either

  • in-person ;

  • by telephone;

  • or online.

Each session is 50 minutes.

My therapy space is in Crosby, Liverpool.

Counselling and Psychotherapy

Counselling and Psychotherapy are 'talking therapies'. The counsellor/ therapist will aim to help you find better ways to cope, or bring about changes in the way you think and behave to improve your mental and emotional well-being. This process can be short or long term and the number sessions will depend on you, and the depth and complexity of the issues you want to resolve.

Sessions are confidential, and thus you can talk about things you might not feel you are able to discuss with anyone else.

Fees and services

I offer individual psychotherapy sessions to adults.

Each session is 50 minutes.

The fee for each session is £45.

Please contact me to arrange an initial meeting to discuss counselling/ psychotherapy.

Getting Help

Our emotional well-being is as important as our physical well-being. At times we can feel emotionally ‘unwell’. This is where I can help. Firstly, I would like to say well done for starting the process of asking for help, it takes great courage to make that step towards change. We all have difficulties in life and sometimes we need to go somewhere outside our family and friends and to work through these issues with someone else. If you are you experiencing loss or bereavement, stress at work, relationship issues, low mood or depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or self-confidence or anything else that may be hindering your life, I can work with you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours as a way to improve and maintain your sense of emotional well-being. You have taken to first step by deciding to look for someone to help you. Searching for the right therapist or counsellor can be daunting.

Thank you for visiting my website. I offer counselling and psychotherapy sessions for individuals in-person in my private practice in Crosby, Liverpool, L23; or by telephone, or online. If you are interested in finding out about individual counselling or therapy with me then please make contact to arrange an initial short telephone consultation with no obligation.
