About me

I have lived in Liverpool for the last thirty years, making it my home after graduating and enjoy the opportunity to walk with my dog, JD, on the beach and in its parks. I enjoy reading crime novels and watching Sci-Fi movies.

After experiencing the positive effects of my own personal therapy, I decided to make a career change and study Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am passionate about supporting people with their mental wellbeing, not just as a ‘fix’ for a crisis moment, but as a way of life.

Prior to qualifying in Counselling and Psychotherapy I had a career in primary and adult education, which included working for schools across Sefton and Liverpool, and at HMP Liverpool. I have also worked for Nugent’s Children and Young Adult Secure unit and a residential home for adults with enduring mental health issues.

My qualifications include:

B.Ed (Hons); MSc; NPQH; Post Grad Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling, and a Certificate in Clinical Supervision.
